EVERYDAY MAKE UP

I feel like I've finally figured out how to do my make up in the last year. My mom was in town recently and she really liked how I was doing my make up and asked me to do hers. I did and she loved everything. She asked me to put a guide together for her and I thought I would share it here for her and for anyone else that's interested in trying it.

step one

SKIN

I like to even out my skin tone but I really don't like my face to look like I caked on make up so my solution is to mix the three products above together for more of a tinted moisturizer and dewy look.

PRODUCTS

1. Clinique Pep Start hydroblur moisturizer

I love this moisturizer, it has such a nice consistency and texture. It's not greasy or heavy at all. I can't say enough good things about this moisturizer. Plus it mixes really well with the bb creme and foundation primer and thickens up the mixture slightly.

2. Laura Mercier, foundation primer, radiance

This is a beautiful product that ads a bit of shine to your face but not too much.

3. Dior, deerskin nude, bb creme 003

I love BB creme. It's already a toned down version of foundation but it does a really beautiful job of evening our your skin without looking cakey what-so-ever.

WHAT to do

Put a tiny bit of the moisturizer on the top of your hand, squeeze a tiny bit of the foundation primer on top and then one pump of the bb creme. Mix them together really gently so you don't push any into the skin of your hand. Then dab a little bit of the mixture on your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. I then spread it out with my hands as if spreading on face moisturizer. If you do this to rather than using a brush, be sure to wash your hands to make sure you don't get the mixture all of your clothes or towels.

STEP TWO

BLUSH + Contour

PRODUCTS

1.NARS CONTOUR BLUSH, PALOMA

2. Nars liquid blush, dolce vita

3. nars, blush stick, orgasm

WHAT TO DO

Use a contour brush and make fish lips with your mouth. Put the contour in the part of your cheek that sinks in. I also lightly brush the outside of my nose, the left and right corners of my forehead and under my jaw line. Then dip your brush into the highlighter, put it on the top of your cheeks, on the bridge of your nose and on your eye lids.

I recently discovered the NARS liquid blush and it is amazing! You just need a tiny tiny bit so I don't actually use the pump. I unscrew the pump and put a dot of blush on each cheek with the end of the straw of the pump. I then rub it in really well so that it isn't too strong.

Once I've rubbed in the liquid blush I apply a quick dap of the NARS, blush stick on orgasm to add a little sparkle.

step THREE

EYE BROWS

PRODUCTS

1. ANASTASIA BEVERYLY HILLS, BROW WIZ, dark brown

2. benefit, high brow, Highlight & Lift Pencil

WHAT TO DO

I use the bigger brow wiz pencil and only use the smaller one for touch ups. First I use the brow wiz brush to brush out my eye brows. They I use the brow wax pencil and I lightly outline by eye brows, then I go back and fill them in with hair like strokes. Then I use the brush to blend the make up so it doesn't look so bold. To soften them even more I use the high brow highlight pencil underneath my eye brows and on the inside edge. I then use my fingers to rub in the highlight and smooth the edges of my eyebrows.
