GREEK YOGURT PARFAIT WITH GRANOLA AND A DRIZZLE OF HONEY

This is hardly a recipe, I know. However, sometimes a simple recipe can be made extra special by how you present it. Yogurt with granola isn’t typically something I get super excited about but pop it in a champagne glass and it suddenly feels like fine dining. Additionally, I always look forward to using my honey jar and drizzling some on top. It’s amazing how little details like this make a meal feel so much more special. Back when I was a little girl my mom would make us pudding for dessert on special occasions and I always remember that because she presented it so beautifully. She used to pour the homemade pudding into champagne glasses and set them in the fridge to cool until they were ready to serve.

This would also be a great make-a-head breakfast when you have company over or even a great make ahead dessert.

INGREDIENTS in order

1/4 cup plain, 0% greek yogurt

1 sprinkle of your favourite granola (I’ve used bear naked fruit and nut granola)

1 drizzle of honey

1/4 cup plain, 0% greek yogurt

1 sprinkle of your favourite granola

1 more drizzle of honey.

DIRECTIONS

Serve it in a clear glass, the fancier the better. I use my Monique Lhuillier champagne glasses from pottery barn that Nick and I got as a bridal shower gift before our wedding or some vintage glassware I picked up at the antique market in Fort Langley.
