I don’t know how I got so obsessed with affogato, but somewhere along the line it became something I talked about incessantly. If you ask me it’s the perfect dessert, it’s easy to make, refreshing, it wakes you up, it’s not too sweet. It’s perfection.

So here it is my easy affogato recipe.

INGREDIENTS

1 Nespresso altissimo coffee pod

1 large scoop vanilla frozen yogurt (or ice cream or gelato)

DIRECTIONS

Dispense your Nespresso pod directly into a small pitcher that is easy to pour out of. We used a syrup pitcher. When your Nespresso is nearly done scoop your frozen yogurt, place in a small bowl and pour the espresso over top.

Let the frozen yogurt melt a bit before enjoying as it gets better the creamier the espresso gets.
