makes 1 smoothie
This is one of my favourite recipes. It's delicious filling and it gives me my morning coffee buzz. It's also only 2 points if you follow the weight watchers program. I am on it at the moment as I get in shape for my wedding next summer
2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 scoop ground coffee
6 ice cubes
1 frozen banana (cut into thirds and pre-frozen)
1 package or scoop of true marine collagen (optional)
Cut a bunch of bananas into thirds, place each one in a small freezer bag and store in the freezer. Cutting the banana into thirds helps the blender break it down easier.
Poor all ingredients into your blender. I use a vitamix but any blender should do. If your blender isn't as powerful you might want to cut your bananas into even smaller pieces. Blend and enjoy!
