APPLE WITH PEANUT BUTTER
I know this is a pretty straight forward recipe but it’s one of my go to healthy snacks so I wanted to share it with you here. I recently purchased a book on healing foods and will share the benefits of apples and peanut butter below.
Apples are so good for you. They are high in fibre and they’re a superfood when it comes to satiety. Wash well before eating. Water and baking soda does a great job at removing pesticide residue.
Peanut butter contains healthy fats that benefit your heart. Avoid highly processed varieties and instead opt for brands with a simple ingredients list (ideally just peanuts)
1 tbsp peanut butter
Cut apple into thin pieces and spread a thin layer of
peanut butter on the slice of apple
