A QUICK VALENTINES DAY DATE NIGHT IDEA

Life has been super busy around here this year as we prep for our son to arrive. I wanted to plan something fun for Nick and I to do together at home that wouldn’t take a ton of time but that would get us out of our usual routine.

When I was out grocery shopping the week before valentines day I came across a box of pre-cut valentines day heart pillsbury cookies. I grabbed some pre-mixed icing and fun sprinkles and thought we could do some cookie baking and decorating together. It wouldn’t take long but would get us doing something together that was fun and out of our usual routine.

It ended up being so fun and we got super giddy of the sugary icing so I highly recommend doing something like this if you don’t have ton of time to bake or do something more elaborate.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  1. package of pillsbury cut-out peanut butter cookie dough

  2. 1 package of pre-made cream cheese frosting

  3. 1 package of cute valentines day inspired sprinkles

  4. a baking sheet

  5. parchment paper

  6. a knife for spreading your icing.

Flip on some romantic music and bake and ice them together. This took us about 15 minutes to decorate and 15 minutes to bake and was SO fun. Nick was super excited about his cookie that looked like a face lol.

Anyway, happy valentines day! I hope you all have a great one.
